My name is Lori and I am a wannabe farm girl who lives out in the country in beautiful southeastern Massachusetts, about halfway between Boston and Cape Cod. I’m originally from the great state of Georgia, but I now find myself transplanted in what we jokingly call “the center of the universe” (just ask anyone originally from here!) with my husband George, a native New Englander. Together we have the world’s 2 most spoiled poodles, Cleo and Juju. We also have several chickens, and if it were up to me, we’d have more of every kind of animal! Thankfully, George is the voice of reason and keeps that under control. We all live together (ok–just for clarity, the chickens have their own place out back) in a beautiful old New England antique home we are very proud of….the Isaac Brown House that was initially constructed in 1765. It’s a beautiful old Gambrel roofed Dutch Colonial that was built by John Brown in anticipation of the birth of his son, Isaac. I’d like to share some of the events and goings on around the house with you all, so welcome to my blog……come in and stay a while!
